# Manage your training content categories

In order **to segment your programs and workouts** for your clients in the app, you can create categories and subcategories.

# Add a category

In the "**Coaching**" menu in your back office, click on "**Programmes**" and then on the content of your choice. Then click on "**Edit**", then on "**Manage categories**".

By clicking on "**+ Add a category**", you can add as many categories as you like, entering **a name** (compulsory and visible to everyone) and **an image** (optional) for each one.

# Add a sub-category

In the "**Coaching**" menu in your back office, click on "**Programmes**" and then on the content of your choice. Then click on "**Edit**", then on "**Manage categories**". Click on "**Add a parent category**", then on "**Create a parent category**".

The name of the **parent category** will then be the name of your main category, and the name of the category below it will be the name of **the sub-category**.

Remember to save to create and use categories later.

# Assign a category to a programme

In the "Coaching" menu in your back office, click on "Programmes" and then on the content of your choice. Then click on "Edit" and scroll down to the bottom of the editing page.

Choose the category or categories of your choice.
