# Manage your recipe categories

To segment your recipes for your customers in the app, you can create categories and sub-categories.

You can only categorise your recipes. AZEOO recipes cannot be modified.

# Add a category

In the "**Nutrition**" menu of your back office, click on "**Recipes**" and then on "**My recipes**". Finally, click on the content of your choice. Once on the recipe editing menu, click on "**Manage categories**".

By clicking on "**+ Add a category**", you can add as many categories as you like, entering for each one **a name** (mandatory and visible to everyone) and **an image** (optional).

# Add a sub-category

In the "**Nutrition**" menu of your back office, click on "**Recipes**" and then on "**My recipes**". Finally, click on the content of your choice. Once on the recipe editing menu, click on "**Manage categories**". Click on "**Add a parent category**", then on "**Create a parent category**".

The name of the **parent category** will then be the name of your large category, and the name of the category below it will be that of **the sub-category**.

# Assign a category to a recipe

In the "**Nutrition**" menu of your back office, click on "**Recipes**" and then on "**My recipes**". Finally, click on the content of your choice. Once on the recipe editing menu, scroll down to the "**Categories**" section.

Select the category or categories of your choice.
